Cyd Premium is now available for $4/month

We're excited that you can finally get Cyd Premium accounts for $4/month instead of paying $36/year. Paying annually is still a better deal, but it's a lot cheaper now to just try it out. See the Cyd pricing page for more information.

When we launched Cyd in late 2024, the free version let you delete all of your tweets and likes from X. If you wanted to get fancy with it, like only deleting your tweets that didn't go viral, or deleting all your DMs and unfollowing everyone, or migrating your tweets to Bluesky, you'd have to pay for $36/year to unlock the Premium features.

Since X is such an awful cesspool, most of our users simply wanted to use Cyd once to delete and migrate their data, and then say good riddance to Elon's racist sandbox forever.

Even so, we thought $36 was a fair price. It took a lot of work to get make Cyd and even now, without paying our collective members, we're only just breaking even.

But, with the addition of Bluesky support to Cyd Mobile, we've decided to change things up. Unlike X, Bluesky is a platform that people actually want to use on a regular basis. You might want to try Cyd out for a month or two to see how you like it before committing for a full year. We have confidence that Cyd is genuinely a useful privacy tool to keep your social media clean (including social media you use every day), and that you'll stick around.

And speaking of Cyd Mobile, right now it's only available for Android, but the iPhone version will be coming very soon. Apple forces developers that to sell a product inside their apps to use their own wildly-marked up payment processor. Because of this, we've had to spend time implementing in-app purchases for iOS, and it's currently under App Store review.
